     Re: Recommendation of Maritza Khamenian’s A New Step Day Care & Preschool

This letter enthusiastically recommends Maritza Khamenian’s A New Step Daycare & Preschool. Maritza Khamenian has provided childcare for our daughter Izabel for the last 2 ½ years, since Izabel was an infant.

A New Step Daycare & Preschool provides day care in a very nurturing warm home setting. This day care has excelled in meeting Izabel’s infant and then toddler developmental needs. Our daughter has developed great social and motor skills relatively early for her age. A New Step Daycare & Preschool encourages my daughter to express herself and learn through music, dance, art, math, group work, individual work and hands-on learning.

 I am amazed and grateful for the great age-appropriate behavior management skills that Maritza applies to every child. My husband and I follow and encourage some of her discipline methods at home with my daughter and it creates a well balanced, clear and consistent expectation of behavior for her.

 I know my daughter feels she is in a safe and nurturing environment because she always looks forward to going to day care, and my husband and I always feel at ease when we drop her off. Maritza’s love for children is genuine, and her dedication is proven by her continued commitment to enhance her skills by attending monthly workshops about Professional Advanced Childcare Education put on by The Children’s Home Society.

 We feel very lucky to have found A New Step Daycare & Preschool. Maritza and her family love our child so much that they are like an extension of our family. We look forward to keep having our child Izabel thrive in this great nurturing environment. We are currently expecting our second baby, and I would definitely take my new baby to A New Step Daycare & Preschool once I return to work after maternity leave.

Great Daycare!‎ - Mari‎ - Jun 14, 2009


Maritza took care of my son from the time he was 6 weeks old until about 1 year old. I was so nervous about going back to work and leaving my little baby with someone new, but the way Maritza cared for my child made me feel so comfortable and gave us so much peace of mind.

She prepared very heathly meals and provided a fun environment. It was really nice to have him exposed to a bi-lingual environment as well. Their family and home is very nice and her children are well-behaved and friendly :) The neighborhood seemed very nice also, quiet and safe. We highly recommend A New Step Daycare and Preschool.

I am Very Happy with  "A New Step Daycare & Preschool "! - Jun 16, 2009

My son started to attend "A New Step Daycare & Preschool" in March of this year. My husband and I had been having a real difficult time with him in his other daycares. Mrs. Maritza has worked with him for the last 3 months and what a huge change we have seen in our son. This has been a life change...not only for my son but also in our home.
My son is a very picky eater and he had a really tuff time eating the food that she prepared for him but now he is eating almost everything that Mrs. Maritza is preparing for him and the other children.
